Description

As a web designer/developer, I had the opportunity to create a microsite for Volvo Cars Colombia with the objective of selling cars and generating leads. The microsite was designed to provide an immersive and engaging experience for potential customers, while also making it easy for them to learn about the features and benefits of Volvo’s cars.

To achieve these goals, I worked closely with the Volvo Cars Colombia team to understand their target audience and marketing objectives. Based on this information, I developed a user-friendly design that emphasized the unique selling points of Volvo’s cars, such as safety, reliability, and style.

The microsite included a range of features to encourage users to engage with the content and take action, such as interactive car models that could be viewed from different angles, detailed product descriptions, and a lead generation form that allowed users to request more information or book a test drive.

To ensure that the microsite was effective at generating leads, I implemented a robust analytics system that tracked user behavior and allowed the Volvo Cars Colombia team to optimize the site for better performance over time. This included A/B testing different design elements, analyzing user engagement metrics, and refining the lead generation form based on user feedback.

Overall, the microsite for Volvo Cars Colombia was a great success, helping to drive sales and generate leads for the company. The user-friendly design, immersive content, and optimized lead generation system all worked together to create a compelling experience for potential customers and drive business results.

Description

I’m excited to showcase the largest eCommerce project I have developed to date. The project involved fixing bugs on the old Magento 2 platform before completely redeveloping the site on a more user-friendly WordPress-WooCommerce platform. The site features over 1000 products and 2000 product variations, making it a complex and challenging project.

To meet the client’s requirements, we designed and developed a custom WordPress-WooCommerce website that was optimized for user experience and ease of use. We focused on creating a responsive website design that was visually appealing and easy to navigate, with an emphasis on clear and concise product descriptions.

One of the key challenges of the project was configuring shipping by ZIP code and setting up a pickup-only option. We worked closely with the client to ensure that these features were implemented smoothly and efficiently.

In addition, we synchronized products with Facebook and ran campaigns on Google Ads and Facebook Business to drive traffic and sales. This involved a data-driven approach to optimization, as we continuously monitored and refined our strategies to maximize ROI.

Throughout the project, we maintained a collaborative approach with the client, working closely with them to understand their goals and deliver a website that met their needs. We also provided ongoing support and maintenance to ensure that the website continued to perform well over time.

Overall, the project was a great success, resulting in a user-friendly eCommerce website with over 1000 products and 2000 product variations. The collaboration between our team and the client was a testament to the power of effective communication and collaboration in achieving outstanding results.
